There are two productive skills that require thorough preparation:speaking and writing.I have personally found teaching writing skills to be much more demanding as the Italian students have a different flow of thoughts and tend to write overly complicated sentences which make no sense in English. we need to carefully plan the speaking lesson try to engage the students and generate interest in the topics as well as promote major fluency rather than accuracy. On the other hand whne teaching writing skills accuracy is more important along with spelling, handwriting.
