first lessons can be carried out with new groupr or already existing groups and in case of new groups it is important to establish a rapport, engage students and find out about their individual needs.when starting each new lesson the best alternative to break the ice and motivate the students is to use some warmers such as hagman or pictionary. when the class is composed of different level students or same level with some students learning very quickly then there should be some regrouping or arranging the class in particular way. with big classes there should be leaders of the teams etc. It is also not advisable to use the native language even if the students are in a difficulty. another potential problem goes with the listening where some content needs to be pretaught.
