The unit discussed the idea of teaching production skills, speaking and writing. The two skills are commonly feared by both teachers and students when it comes to teaching and learning a second language. More than reading and listening, these are the skills that come after receptive skills. The production skills should not be neglected, rather incorporated throughout the lessons over time. Fluency and accuracy are equally important; hence, teachers need to plan both types of activities. Incorporating games into the lesson also helps students enjoy a lesson that can be dull and boring.
