Unit Ten gives two demonstration videos on how to and how not to conduct an English lesson. In the first lesson, everything was rushed, unclear and not at all engaging. There wasn’t any good use of the white board or props and the instructor was visibly upset at his students confusion. In the second lesson, the instructor took time to explain each point and made sure that the students’ pronuncitation was correct. He also allowed them to work together and praised them when elicitng answers from them regardless if they were correct or not. Wacthing these videos has certainly made me reflect on how I can improve.
