This unit is about parts of speech, specifically looking at how to classify types of words correctly. I have learned the different types of noun - such as common, proper and abstract - as well as how to classify transitive and intransitive verbs, and regular and irregular verb forms. Crucially, this unit has made me think about the English language in a logical, technical way which will help me to be able to teach it.
