This unit gave an overview of how to begin teaching students the English language, within the lesson structures introduced in Unit 3. This unit explains different techniques that could be used within each phase of the lesson plan, and why each technique is suitable for that phase (e.g. debate being used in the Activate stage, as this is for putting students' knowledge into practical use). Overall, I've learned many useful techniques and learned more about structuring lessons for efficient and engaging ESL lessons.
