The main things that I learned from this lesson were the different methodologies that are used in language learning. It makes sense after reading them to recognize how they were used in my own language classes growing up (Spanish for example) and how the methodologies are different. Also, there was a lot of time spent on the Engage, Study, Activate part of the lesson. This will be very useful to know while teaching students English. I would not really know how to structure a class without the use of the ESA system.
