I found this unit to be quite challenging especially since a lot of the content in this unit are areas that I have not spent a lot of time looking at and/or studying. It shows that there's a fundamental difference between growing up and speaking a language as your mother tongue and learning a language academically. I do feel that in order to really master my English then perhaps I need to focus on this area at a later point, it would be particularly embarrassing if I was asked a question about something related to this topic and I failed to give an answer or the right answer, the students will begin to have doubts about me as a teacher so studying this unit is fundamental.
