This is the first time I get to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of using a course book. When I was a language student, I did not understand why the teacher would use extra material than the book or skip some lessons and exercises on the book. This unit allowed me to understand the importance of adapting the class material in order to be a better teacher and keep the students motivated.
