Two key take aways from this section are the irregular verbs and gerunds. As a native English speaker we don't know the rules, only the exceptions, but we don't even have those memorized. The list of irregular verbs will be a nice reference list to have on hand later on and share with students as needed. The second thing I learned (never learnt), was gerunds. I've never heard this term before. Turning a verb into a noun by adding ing, this is something we do constantly, but I didn't know the grammatical name for it. Happy to have learned this.
