In this unit, the two video shows the same lesson being taught to Thai students in very different ways.
The first lesson is deliberately making a number of errors and it clearly shows that the lesson was unsuccessful. The teacher didn’t give clear instructions and explanations, so the students seem so confused and intimidated. They’re reluctant to participate in this lesson.
The second lesson, on the other hand, was taught effectively. The teacher builds a better rapport by learning the student’s names’ first before starting the lesson point. The students were given clear explanations of the lesson point so the students participate actively. The positive attitude of the teacher has a profound effect on the success of this lesson.
