The focus of the unit was to provide teachers with as much information as possible regarding lesson planning. Teachers have to be prepared before each lesson so that they can be flexible during one and provide a smooth learning process to their students. As it has been mentioned before, the environment in which we teach is crucial to the students' learning, and one of the factors for offering a good teaching and learning environment is the preparation of each class. By planning a lesson, teachers know what the learner's objectives are, giving them a clear vision of what they want to achieve for their students in this particular lesson by also avoiding confusion and irritation. Teachers also state their personal aims on their lesson plan, as well as the teaching aids they will need during the lesson. Furthermore, it is very helpful due to the fact that the teacher can anticipate problems that may arise and have solutions.
