This unit was very informative as i have learnt different types of teaching aids a teacher can use in the classroom. Gone are the old days when teachers only relied on the use of blackboards and chalk.Many schools especially in the developed countries are using most of these teaching aids however not so much in the developing countries as these are still being introduced for example using IWB,Overhead projectors are mostly found in private schools rather than public schools.I have learnt that using teaching aids improves the learners comprehension ,and reading skills.It also make the lesson interesting, motivates students relieving boredom as it presents a new and exciting way of learning.
