Unit 6 deals with the teacher's professional development. The unit emphasized awareness when working and teaching in different regions of the world. It discussed cultural issues that we need to be aware of and some general rules to keep in mind when working or teaching in a foreign country. It provided ways of seeking, applying and keeping employment through advertising or being in the targeted country itself. Writing our C.V. or resume and cover letter were also tackled. The unit also provided professional associations and webliography of many contacts that we can use and find useful throughout our career.
