Unit 4 gives an overview of classroom materials and explains the different types of materials available, including their advantages and disadvantages. The unit gave a clear explanation of lesson plans as well as providing a helpful template lesson plan sheet. I felt that the part about coursebooks was particularly interesting because I currently teach in Thailand with coursebooks I was supplied with that are far too advanced for my students. This gave options for the different ways I can use the coursebooks with the students. The list of materials websites will also be helpful.
