Unit 5 has been about teacher/student interactions. How to most effectively elicit the students attention, encourage participation and keep focus. It is important for the teacher to have charisma and connect with students while also being the dominant force in the classroom. Also explained was how to utilize the board while encouraging STT, how to reduce TTT and different options for classroom arrangement depending on the objectives for class. Occasionally lack of discipline is problem but it is nearly never useful to become emotional with students who do not listen.
