This Unit is talking about the course book and lesson materilas. The materials are mainly divided into Authetic materials and Created materials. Both of them have their advantages and disadvantages. For the Authetic materials , they are materials may include News ,Songs,Poems and films on the videos. Because they are quite related to the real life so it can catch the interst of the student , they can also get the confidence if they understand them. But this material is quite hard for the elementary student. It can't balance the grammar, listening, speaking well if the teacher don't do some adjustment about this material. For the course book which most expected by the student can balance these parts . But the teacher may became lazy and not willing to be creative when they use the course book. I prefer to use the course book and do some extension with the Authentic materials . Both of them can be well used during the class to make the class more creative and interesting for the students.
