Unit twelve went over speaking and writing. The lesson talked about how writing is often overlooked. The reasoning behind states that it takes away from student talk time in class, and is usually assigned as homework but is not done. In my opinion, writing can be very important. For example, maybe you cannot explain something to someone because they can't understand you, but maybe you can write it down for them. The lesson touched on how games can be very important and fun for the class at any level, and that they should be incorporated more often than just on Friday. The unit also touched on fluency and accuracy. When working with accuracy, you should focus more on getting language correct, whereas fluency is more about experimenting. This was something that I did not know prior to the lesson.
