In this unit I learnt to differentiate between such types of materials as authentic and non-authentic. The author investigates their advantages and disadvantages and also sheds light on how to design them for classroom. Another important point was the explanation of how to make an appropriate lesson plan as I've been fighting with designing it for many years. The unit also provides us with excellent examples so now I have a clear idea how a lesson plan should look like and what sections it should include. Additionally, the author advises on book recources choice which is difficult to make as there is a great variety of material today.
