I have quite a few experiences doing lesson planning and this type of lesson planning for ESL is truly interesting. Very similar in content but differs to the need of the teacher and students. During lesson planning at Elementary schools in the United States, the focus is on a variety of things such as assessments and GLOs(Global Learner Outcomes). For Tefl and Tesol the focus is on improvement for the teacher and the students. The focus is the same for both lesson plans but to see the ESA in motion is such a good thing to see. It's good to see it built through each particular activity to help me understand more about ESL teaching. Experienced teachers will have everything chunked together with the lesson in mind. I now have a better understanding how the plans are carried out with a classroom bunch of second language learners.
