In this unit I learned about what makes a good learner and teacher. A good teacher cares a lot about teaching, but more about the learners. Good students are motivated and have a desire to soak in all the information that they can. I learned about the different positions that a teacher can take within a classroom such as manager, facilitator, model, etc. I learned about the different levels of language that students could be in such as beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate, etc. I also learned about the different motivating factors for students, and the differences between student groups (2-7, 8-13, 14-18, and adults).
