It is easy to talk an language especially English, but writing in it and understanding it is hard. This unit really help you with understanding the written language with the different parts of speeches. It really helps to understand the language when you break it up like nouns, verbs, prepositions etc. This unit helped me to not only revise things that I learned in school, but also to build on my prior knowledge as there were things that I did not know. When you want to teach someone a language you must know that language and know how to break it down for them, so that they can understand it easier. This unit really help with it, by showing us how to break it down e.g. first you can play it out, let a man walk so the learners see it now they have to give each action a name walking, standing, talking then you can ask them to identify the parts of speech. As a teacher you should always place your learners first and this unit helps us by showing us how to break up the literature, in order for us to really understand it.
