This unit has given me good knowledge of the existing English exams, when and where they are usually being used. I have learnt what kind of tests are usually used in the EFL schools. I have also learnt purposes of Placement, Progress, Diagnostic and Practice tests. I have learnt what type of general external Examinations are usually taken (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC). Now, I know different categories of Cambridge Exams and their targets. E.g.: General English (KET, PET, FCE,CAE, CPE), Skills for Life (ESOL) and Business English (BEC, BULATS). Thanks to this Unit I am more educated about the English Exams existed and know their aims of use.
