The aim of this course is to give the participants an idea and teach them the methodologies related to teaching business English. In order to teach business English the participants need not have a background in that particular field, instead the teacher needs to know the way of teaching. The methodology includes identifying the needs of the clients and then designing the syllabus or content based on that. The teacher also needs to know how to deliver the contents to the clients having a realistic idea for individual lesson. The teacher should also be able to assess students before, after and during the course. In this case the students/clients will already know about there own area of expertise, as a teacher we need to help them to use this knowledge through the medium of English.
Teaching business English could take place at a language school where the company sends their employees or it could also take place 'in house' that is at the organisation.
