This Unit concentrates on one of the tense system which is the Present tense on how they are formed, used, the errors often made by students and the ideas on how to use them during the activation stage. The tenses are formed using four different aspects which are simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous, each of these aspects have got rules governing the usage of certain words in a sentence. It is important as a teacher to come up with activities which allow students to put the tenses in practice like role plays.
