The previous unit focussed on receptive skills - listening and reading and this unit specifically focussed on the productive skills - speaking and writing.
its very important to have both skills when learning a new language. there could be many ways to learn these two skills. sometimes age can play in too. for example if u are teaching kids u gotta use simple sentences and use interactive games because kids always wants to move around or jump because of their attention span. however when it comes to adults it can be a bit challenging because if for example the are learning English For Academic purposes they will have a lot to learn so that they can use that to write research reports or able to use it during an exam or interview. its always advised to have a good balance to everything. for example watching movies can help students improve their listening and learn more vocabulary and reading can help increase their vocabulary and spellings.
