Unit 18 completes the essential basics of English grammar that is taught to EFL. The topics discussed were modal verbs, passive voice, phrasal verbs and relative clauses.I have learnt more about the precise usages of such modal verbs as might and may and the usages of the other modal verbs , whilst I knew this instinctively, it is interesting to comprehend the degrees of how they are used. The transitive and intransitive , separable and inseparable phrasal verbs was an insightful exercise . Overall I have found the grammar components of this course challenging and very insightful. To explain what I understand naturally and to articulate it in a coherent way has proven an interesting exercise .
