This unit was pleasant while reading about the beginners approach as I myself had to deal with beginners in my English classes in China. I was happy to identify the categories of beginners - absolute beginners, false beginners, adult and young beginners. But if teaching the beginners was just a pleasant review of my own experience, teaching Business English or English for specific Purposes was something that worried me when I first thought to apply for such a job exactly because my major is not management and I was worried that I may not cover the class in a satisfactory way for the employers. This unit helped me understand that teaching Business English does not have to do with business vocabulary itself and even if my major was management or engineering, teaching technical vocabulary is not to be my major purpose but to help these people communicate in English in business environment.
