The unit focused on the two basic materials that are often used in the classroom as part of the lesson design, thus authentic materials and non-authentic materials. Authentic materials have some disadvantages and advantages. In terms of advantages one of which is that its more realistic and students will gravitate easily towards it but at the same time it would not be at the written in the target language level for easy comprehension. Teachers are encouraged to adapt them for lessons but to endeavor to prepare their personal non-authentic materials.
