This lesson was about the use of modal auxiliary verbs to express obligation, possibilities, abilities, advice, request and permission; relative clauses and they way in which they modify a noun and the meaning of a sentence; how we can express actions through the passive voice; and how to use phrasal verbs.
Different teaching ideas are suggested, such as role plays or writing rules to practice the usage of modal auxiliary verbs; matching phrases to practice passive voice. In the case of phrasal verbs, it can sometimes be hard for students to learn them, so it could be advisable to teach them as vocabulary and try to use them naturally in the speech during non controlled conversation, so students can become familiar with the use.
It was useful to go through these topics again to refresh my memory on how to properly use them.
