It was interesting to dive into parts of sentences in more detail, but there is a lot of potential for confusion between the different types of clauses, the different types of phrasal verbs, and the passive versus active voice. It is important to define each of them first, followed by examples. Activation stages need to include a lot of repetition, but with focus on one type of clause or verb at a time at the beginning. This unit gives a sense of the vast amount of grammar rules that exist in the english language and how we have only covered the basics.
