In the classroom, the tools I use to teach my lessons don't vary much. I usually stick to computers, course books, CD players, worksheets, and visual aids. I think I would like to use more videos or DVDs in my lessons to engage my students more while also letting them to have better understanding of dialogues. I liked the idea of showing short clips from a longer video in each class so that the students have something to look forward to, especially with classes that sometimes have trouble focusing. Though I do often use videos from digital textbooks, I want to try playing the videos without audio for my students so that they have to guess what the dialogue is about. I think this will lead to better involvement and make the students more interested in what the dialogue actually has to communicate.
