While studying this unit I have been made aware of some really practical tools for teaching live classroom situations. The idea I'm getting from this and other units is that a large part of teaching is intuitive. The teacher must develop the intuition to know when to to implement different styles and activities depending on the age and ability of his/her students. Teacher must also be intuitive to know when flexibility is needed or when a situation changes and a lesson must be adapted accordingly.
