I have learnt two thing that are very useful to me. 1st OHP (Overhead projector) could be used as board alternative since it could focus on students’ attention and cut down time necessary for writing on the board. OHP would definitely be perfect for presenting or streaming information offline or online. More so, I would use it for timed reading and fill gaps exercises. Also, it would enable me keep lessons on file and reuse from time to time as well as to model grammars and vocabularies. Finally, I would use OHP to review students’ exercises, highlight mistakes commonly made and make corrections. 2nd "Visuals" are definitely important and necessary in order to keep lessons interesting and interactive. I would use visuals for quick and effective illustrations, stimulating discussions and eliciting language vocabularies. Also, I would use it to attract students’ attention, add variety and interest and help with the memory process. This is suitable for the engage phase of my lesson which motivates the students towards the lessons and task for the day.
