The unit discusses several important aspects of English grammar. The modal verbs described clearly differentiate, not only the uses but also the degree of use. In addition to that, voice that acquires an extremely special place in English Language has been discussed. What makes the explanation stand apart is not only the transformation from active to passive or vice versa but also the uses of passive. As a learner of English Language, what I really discovered in a true manner is the concept of defining and non-defining relative clauses and how the presence (or absence) of a comma can carry different connotations. Again, what came as something new is the classification of phrasal verbs which to some extent was tricky to understand in the first attempt but was definitely helpful, given the kind of finer details it carries. Overall, this unit has been one of the most challenging units but again, needless to say, it was fun as it always is to examine English Language, from the point of both, learning and teaching.
