Most tricky part of the chapter has got to be the section on "Phrasal Verbs"! I had to re-read it a few times and am still not definite about Type 2 and Type 3 phrasal verbs. I agree with the writer that this will be difficult for students to grasp and should be tried out spoken before written. Modal verbs and the 2 voices in English would be easier to understand, especially when used in communicative activities and pair/group activities.
