The modals are: may, might, can, could, would, should, need, shall, should, must, have to, have got to, need to, ought to, needn't. Modals can be used to express many different meanings: obligation, possibility, permission/ prohibition, ability and advice. When teaching modals, teachers can use role plays, signs and rules. There are two voices: the active and the passive (used when it is not known, not important, or we don't want to say). Relative clause is a dependent clause that modifies the noun. It introduced by a pronoun: who, which, that, whose, whom, etc.
