This unit talks about the various tests available to a teacher to gauge motivation, understanding and level of the student. Each test is designed for a specific purpose. For example, the placement test is to determine the proficency level of the student. The diagnostic test is similar to the placement test, but is more extensive. The diagnostic test is used by the teacher to prepare lesson plans. In addition the unit also covers external exams including the Cambridge assessments.
