This section on testing and evaluating is short but of great importance. It teaches the teacher that a students language level needs to be judged in order to judge what he/she knows and what is not known. This gives the teacher a benchmark and feedback can be used to place the student in the relevant class in order for them to flourish and actually learn the language quicker. I say this because if the student was placed in a classroom with students who have a greater knowledge of the language, that student who knows less will eventually feel unmotivated and their willingness to learn will slowly fade away. As opposed to the same student ina class with students which are on a similar learning level. They will all progress around the same time keeping motivation levels high.
