As a teacher of English, there will be many materials available to use in the classroom when teaching foreign students. Firstly, I as the teacher need to understand that the students don't speak English as fluently as I dk and when choosing course materials, I need to take in to consideration the age group as well as language level of the students. It makes no sense using material for higher level students with beginner students. After reading this module, I have understood that as the teacher, I would need to make a decision as to which parts of course materials need to be omitted because of it being unsuitable and which sections would need supplementary materials.
