CONDITIONAL AND REPORTED SPEECH
Conditionals are sentences containing "if"or "when" expressions which refer to present
,past and future possibilities
THE MAIN CONDITIONALS
1.Zero condiional
form - if/when +present tense ,present tense
Example
The room turns dark if you switch of the lights.
2.First Conditional
Form-if+ present simple,will
Example
If you eat health you will be fit.
3.Second Conditional
Form - if+past simple,would/could/might +base form
Example
If I was rich I would buy anything I want.
4.Third Conditional
Form - If + past perfect,would/could/might + have + past participle
Example
She would have been happy if we had bought her the wine.
5.Mixed Conditional
Form - If + past perfect,would +base form
Example
If we had gotten on that car we would not be alive.
