This section was beneficial in developing a better understanding of what resources to use in class. The created versus authentic approach was great insight into the two sides of course materials. I could relate with the disadvantages and advantages, but I recognize that ultimately it is up to the teacher to figure out what is best for the students. The creativity advantage associated with created resources was informative. The structured and dependable advantage that was associated with authentic materials is another informative piece of information to keep with me as a teacher.
