This module explains how important it is for teachers to use various teaching aids to make lessons more effective and interesting.
In this unit we can understand the advantages and disadvantages of using various teaching aids such as Black and white boards,IWB ,OHP , visual aids , worksheets , cassette DVD and CD players ,course books etc.
I think this unit is useful in order to understand the efficacy of using appropriate teaching aids during a lesson . These aids can be used according to the requirement as per the stages of each lesson, for example worksheets can be more effective during Study stage than visual aids whereas visual aids are more productive during the Engage stage of a lesson.
These teaching aids are applicable for every stage of an ESA lesson .
