In this unit, we have talked about the importance of evaluation for students and how to assess them. There are 3 ways to assess a student's language levels: Tutorials, Evaluation by students, and Tests. Tutorials can be done individually or with the entire class. Usually, teachers won't have enough time to conduct individual tutorial lessons, so it recommended to do it at the end of class with all the students. Evaluation by students can be very effective as we get to see the students' response about how they feel about the course. Lastly, testing is the most common way to assess students in both schools and language centers. There are 5 different types of tests: Placement, Diagnostic, Progress, Practice, and Proficiency.
