This unit focuses on the correct structure and usages of modal verbs, passive voice, clauses, and phrasal verbs. These topics are all verb complex and usually require a moderate degree of foreknowledge from students. Regardless of what topic is being stressed in a lesson, it is important to model correct forms and appropriate context and usage of each grammar point for the students. Many students will struggle to command these forms easily. A good teacher will be encouraging towards reluctance and understanding of mistakes.
