Materials of any kind are useful in the classroom, the only difference is that some materials work better in certain conditions. Authentic materials are more focused on the real life scenarios. It develops the life skills of the students and it also helps with their confidence. Created materials are more of the typical activities found in the classroom. Examples of these are flashcards, crosswords, picture stories etc. Lastly, their is what we call a coursebook. These is a book where all activities, steps, methods, materials are given. The only thing that the teacher needs to do is to execute it. In simple words, a coursebook is a ready made guide/plan for teachers to do.
