In this unit we looked at troubleshooting for some common problems teachers face. In most cases, the teacher needs to be flexible and ready to learn as the problems arise and deal with them accordingly. First lessons are a time to build relationships and get to know the students' interests. Games must be used as warmers and not just go straight into a grammatical class. Different levels of students is a common issue that can be solved by pairing stronger and weaker students together so that no one is left behind.
