There are various types of materials and tools that can be used in the classroom. Because I have been always in the same school for the past 2 years I have gotten comfortable with just using the same tools every lesson. This unit has widened my perspective. I now see the benefit of using other materials such as an overhead projector and cd players. This unit also made me reflect on how the type of materials I use in the lesson should be properly prepared ahead of time. I have been taking for granted that I will have a digital whiteboard; as a result, I have been careless and there have been situations I have to quickly think of a solution if there is a technical glitch and I cannot use the computer. This unit just reminded me to be more cautious and prepared for every class.
