I have learned that testing is important and what role they play throughout the students learning. For example Placement tests to determine where and what level he or she will be place in a class. Diagnostic tests for more extensive testing also at the beginning of placement in their respective level. This is to ensure that they are not in a too low or too high level based on their placement test results. Firm believer in practice tests throughout the learning term, to allow the student and teacher to know what they have retained. Also good that the unit mentions that the teacher then can use this information to repeat anything the students or class doesn't know or fully understand. Tutorials make sense as stated, normally not enough time during the week, but I think some students may need this is following behind and also for encouragement moving forward.
