Putting the correct words to activities that we normally do as humans was interesting. Predictive, Scanning, Skimming, Details and Deduction. All practiced daily based on what we are trying to understand. Pre-teaching vocabulary in order for the teacher to affectively and meaning to the class or is a good way for students to learn more words and with in the class context on the subject being taught during the class lesson. I suppose homework would also be a good way for students to learn new vocabulary on their own time with follow up during the next class session.
